Senior Pastor
Pastor Chandler serves Assembly of Prayer with a rare blend of gospel conviction, pastoral tenderness, and a deep love for justice. A father and a friend to many, he preaches Christ with clarity and cares for people with genuine warmth.
A shepherd's heart
Rev. Chandler was called to the ministry after years walking closely with the Lord and serving in his local church. Trained as both a theologian and an attorney (J.D.), he brings a thoughtful, well-studied voice to the pulpit — and a compassionate, listening ear to the pew.
His preaching is Bible-centered and Christ-exalting. His pastoring is personal, patient, and prayerful. Whether he is visiting a member in the hospital, mentoring a young man in the community, or teaching Wednesday night Bible study, Pastor Chandler is guided by a single question: how can we love God and love our neighbor more faithfully?
He and his family make their home on Long Island and consider it a profound privilege to serve the Assembly of Prayer family.
